The last day in july

We finally did it! We have lived in central pa for 4 years now,
and we finally made it to Hershey Park. Very good friends of ours
took our two kids, from sun up to sun down, so that us 2 could go be kids,
and ride the coasters. One of our favorite things to do together!
The 2 of us had a BLAST!

Me with My favorite!(besides Brian of course)

This week was the last week of swim lessons at the Carlisle pool, but fret not! i signed drew up for "Y" lessons for more, he surpassed almost everyone in his class, definitely surprised me and is ready to learn more. The teacher would tell the class to do one thing, then lean over and tell me and drew to keep working on the arm strokes! This week we went to a ward baseball game to celebrate Pioneer Day! We had root beer floats, what better way to say "a Mormon summer night" . I'd let you hear more about our week but I'd rather say it in pictures, so enjoy!

Drew swimming, he now swims with out floaties!

Our friend Reese, Audrey and drew, after an afternoon of swimming,
we are going to miss Reesie Piecey!

Audrey (refusing to look at the camera) and Drew at Chocolate world
we went for a quick ride after hitting the shops

a night of eating watermelon!

Dinner at the bird (not the blue one!) with drew's best friend tommy! then off to the library to pet snakes and see bugs.
drew petting a snake! :)

Audrey is learning the art of dress up!

Audrey is falling asleep in some funny places

Drew is so cool! in dad's sunglasses!

I've just been able to get back online, but we've have had a great summer so far. We went out to Ohio for the forth of July, Brian talked me into going before he told me we would then be camping for one night on the Fourth. for those of you who know me, I HAVE TO see fireworks on the forth. I thought that would not be the case this year.We went to the home town parade in Canfield Ohio, then packed up the cars and drove to the camping site. When we pulled in, someone said,"you should park over here, because over there is the lunch site! aah. We watched our own Private show that night for 2 hours! It was fantastic. the next morning Kate, Emmett, drew and i went out in a canoe on a glass clear lake. it was beautiful. As we were finishing up braking down camp, Brian took the kids fishing; Sibley caught the first bass, then Drew was able to catch one too! He could not have been happier about it. Drew is taking swimming lessons! He just decided it was okay to put his face in the water and he has really taken off on the swimming, I couldn't be more proud. Audrey watching drew is also loving swimming, she refuses to take a nap until after we have gone to the pool. Needless to say we go almost very day. Today we got to take daddy with us to the Pool. Drew loved to show off all the skills he has been learning. With both of us there, we were able to take both kids into the big pool. I have not heard Audrey giggle so much and smile so long then I have today! she was so so happy to be in the big pool with her daddy! She is such a 2 year old, dressing herself in cloths that do not match, but she doesn't care because she got them on, (they maybe inside out and backwards) but they are on!

This week we were able to do some family fun things. Bri surprised me by taking the whole day off on Friday! We were able to go see the much anticipated "Wall e" movie! drew used the camera to take a picture of walle, then i was able to get one photo of the kids in front of wall e before the battery died on the camera. Drew and I loved watching the movie, but dad and Audrey walked up and down the stairs, most of the time. We then drove down and dropped the kids off at the Depps, so that bri and i could go to the temple. (Bri prearranged this with Val). It was a wonderful surprise. We then went to my favorite after temple eating place Baja Fresh. Then a quick shopping stop on our way back to the Depps. We ran some errands on Saturday, everyone got a new pair of sunglasses, the kids used some birthday money from family, (thank you)! Saturday night Drew helped Jar popcorn kernels, for our food storage! He had a lot of fun filling the jars with a laddel. Sunday Brian was set apart for his second calling as a ward activities committee member. Brian made popcorn on the stove for us as a treat! The kids loved it!
